Submiting Your Entry

Submit songs, videos, and posters by mail:

You can mail your submission to the address below. All submissions must be received by May 19, 2008; finalists will be notified by May 25th. Include a completed and signed entry form.

Song entries should include a copy of your song on a cassette or CD, and a copy of your written lyrics.
Video PSA entries should include a copy of the video on DVD or VHS, or in MPEG or WMV format on a CD-ROM. (If using a DVD camcorder, be sure to "finalize" the disc before mailing.)
Poster entries should be rolled up and mailed in a poster tube. Posters designed on a computer graphics program (i.e. Photoshop) can be submitted on a CD. Mail your submission to:

Submit songs and posters online:

For your convienence, we have added the option of electronically submitting your entries this year. To submit your song online:

convert your song to mp3 and make sure it is < 10 MB in size.
complete online entry form
upload the song and paste your song lyrics in the appropriate box on the entry form.
name your song file like this: "firstname_lastname_song."

If you designed a poster using a computer graphics program (such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop) you may convert it to a PDF and upload it. To submit a poster online:

convert your poster file to a PDF and make sure it is < 10 MB in size.
complete online entry form
upload the PDF on the entry form.
name your file like this: "firstname_lastname_poster"

Video PSAs should be submitted through mail. They can be either in a computer playback format (such as MPEG, WMA, or MOV) or on a DVD. If using a personal DVD camcorder, remember to "finalize" the disc before mailing it, otherwise it won't play on DVD player.

To submit all songs and posters > 10 MB in size or in a format other than specified above, you must mail it in.
